Sears Portrait Studio... again!

Daddy took the big boys out of town for a boys day out and I got a coupon in the email for Sears portrait studio Valentine special. So what else was I to do? hehehe
As soon as the littles woke up from nap, I put their Thing 1, 2, 3 & 4 t-shirts on (in birth order) and BGs "I'm a princess, that's why" t-shirt and we headed over to Sears. As I drove the 45 min to the studio, I envisioned a 'mommy & me' kind of experience, where we giggle while the photographer snaps beautiful pics.
hmmm...
I would love to say that it was a fun, bonding mother/children experience. But that would be a lie. After asking them repeatedly to please do what the nice lady (aka photographer) was asking, then begging, then actually forcing them by picking them up and placing them where she wanted them, all to no avail. I bribed them with candy. sigh. My boys were quiet content with just the promise of a piece of candy after all the pics, they straightened right up and did what she asked. But my little girls were a different story. Allee wanted to see the loot first! I'm not kidding. She's only 2 1/2 and al ready negotiating. She wanted to see what kind of candy I was offering. Then wanted a piece for each pose change. This girl is exhausting! She did do the absolute minimum, and no more. She did stand there, but not put her hands up or even down, or anything else she asked her to do. ugh. If you notice in most of the pics, Allee is doing the opposite of the others. There's a reason for that. It's called stubbornness! The photographer asked her to get her hands out of her face (cause she always has them up in her face). But she wouldn't do it. She we asked her to put her hands down by her sides, so what does she do? She raises them over her head! So the photographer went with it and asked the rest to raise their arms above their head too. Well, then Allee put her arms down! ugh! and so on... And then you can see what happened when she tried to get all 3 girls together...
However, as usual, in the end I got some pretty good pics and definitely some awesome memories!
