Choo Choo wagon

We finally got one! I have been wanting one, but was afraid it would be too heavy to pull 5 toddlers. (If you can recall my previous debate on strollers). So I asked a fellow Mom of Multiples if I could borrow hers just to try it out for the March of Dimes walk to see if the choo choo is what I want or not for my squad. Well, this kind-hearted and generous lady not only let me borrow it for the walk, but is letting me keep it for awhile. I can tell you one thing, I have met some of the most wonderful people through my multiples. I feel very blessed with the people in my life. And you'll see why if you just keep reading.
So here is Allee, Bella, Aiden, Ashton and Anastasia the very first time I sat them in the choo choo.

OK, so here is the blessed part. I go to this fellow MoM's house to pick up the choo choo and she loads my truck up with other stuff too. The back of the truck as well as the back seat are over-flowing with toddler toys. I just couldn't believe it. I don't know how to thank her enough.
This is the garage stale after unloading all the new-to-us toddler toys.

And as if that weren't enough, she invited me back again for more stuff! Mr Randall, Mrs Becky and I took the squad back to pick up a couple BIG play structures.

I have been wanting to put together a toddler play area for the summer and have been searching craigslist for items. I don't want to spend a fortune since they outgrow the toddler stuff so fast, but don't think they are ready for the big Rainbow set either. So I have been in a dilemma and procrastinating about getting anything. And now here I just got everything I need from a fellow MoM. Isn't life amazing?
Thanks Tanya!
I will post pics of the completed play area once I get it all set up (if the rain ever stops long enough for our yard to dry out, that is).

So how hard is it pull? I saw a quad mom use one at the zoo this weekend, and now I want one for my triplets.

That is so awesome! While I rely on the money I make from selling my girls' things, I always make sure I set aside a nice amount of clothes and toys to give to friends or members of my moms of multiples group. (So jealous of the Choo Choo! My girls are too big for it now, but I REALLY wanted one).

The choo choo wagon is pretty easy to pull as long as you don't go up too many hills or steep inclines. Pulling it at the Zoo was really easy, now when we walk down our street there are some little long up hill inclines and boy does it sure wear you out. We had to switch last night mommy pull down the street and daddy pulled it back.

Sarah, the choo choo is much easier to pull than I had imagined. However, hills are difficult. But the squad LOVES it, so that makes it worth the extra effort. I have the runabout tho and compared to that, the choo choo is very heavy. But compared to pulling the 4 in a regular wagon, the choo choo is easier. So I guess it's all prespective. lol I've heardd that step 2 is having a cyber sale every Mon in May with 20% off, so that would be a great time to buy. Good luck!
